Position Overview

A growing multi-specialty healthcare organization is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to join its Diagnostic Imaging team. The ideal candidate will perform MRI procedures, ensure patient safety, and deliver exceptional patient-centered care while producing high-quality diagnostic images.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate high-field MRI equipment to obtain diagnostic-quality images.
• Position patients appropriately and utilize immobilization devices when necessary.
• Conduct MRI safety screenings prior to imaging procedures.
• Assist radiologists during MRI and image-guided procedures.
• Perform general radiologic procedures as needed.
• Evaluate image quality and ensure studies meet diagnostic standards.
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
• Coordinate patient scheduling and workflow management.
• Educate and mentor newly hired technologists.
• Provide compassionate care while addressing patient comfort and safety concerns.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology, Radiology, or related field required.
• Active New York State Radiologic Technologist License required.
• Previous MRI and/or X-Ray Technologist experience required.
• Strong knowledge of MRI safety standards and imaging procedures.
• Ability to lift, move, and position patients safely.
• Excellent communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Patient-focused and compassionate approach to care.
