We're looking for people who can use strategy to identify areas of opportunity, and collaborate to help carry projects from conception through execution.About the RoleWe are looking for someone who will help guide our strategy in Ads & Promos. You will be the strategic advisor to important partners across DoorDash to ensure we are making the most efficient investment and capital allocation decisions while improving the experience for all of our advertisers and marketplace participants. You will lead financial reporting, forecasting, and planning, and will guide financial insights and direction for all of our operational decisions and strategies.You’re excited about this opportunity because you will…Own the full P&L, with a deep understanding of the key drivers to strategically balance profitability and the customer experienceTackle complex operational challenges by partnering closely with cross-functional teams across Finance (Accounting, Analytics) and beyond (Operations, Sales, Product, Marketing, Legal) to drive data-informed decisions and high-impact investmentsLead weekly financial reporting and forecasting, as well as quarterly planning, acting as the go-to expert on business performanceIdentify and evaluate key risks and opportunities, build business cases and investment proposals, and ensure effective execution of strategic initiativesWe’re excited about you because…12+ years of experience in Strategic Finance, Corporate Finance, Investment Banking, or Consulting, ideally within high-growth tech or large, established companiesA proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive strong decision-making in a fast-paced, cross-functional environmentDeep experience owning budgets and managing P&Ls across various business dimensions such as markets, verticals, and productsDemonstrated leadership managing high-performing teams, juggling multiple priorities, and partnering with senior leadershipAdvanced Excel and financial modeling skills, with a track record of building robust models that inform business strategy and evaluate the financial impact of new initiativesHands-on experience working with analytics tools and large datasets to uncover actionable insights and drive a deeper understanding of the businessCompensationThe successful candidate’s starting pay will fall within the pay range listed below and is determined based on job-related factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. Base salary is localized according to an employee’s work location. Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future.In addition to base salary, the compensation for this role includes opportunities for equity grants.
