Vice President, Asset Tokenization Product Manager

This role will define and execute product strategy for tokenized securities and Crypto assets, beginning with US Equities and Fixed Income securities, and expanding to additional digital asset and tokenization use cases. The role requires strong knowledge of capital markets workflows, emerging tokenization models, and the ability to deliver complex products in a regulated financial services environment.Wells Fargo is seeking a subject matter expert to provide product leadership for tokenization initiatives, including the design, delivery, and ongoing enhancement of tokenized asset platforms and capabilities. This role requires deep understanding of both traditional market structure and blockchain / distributed ledger technology (DLT)–enabled models, combined with strong execution skills across large, complex organizations.The Product Manager will partner with stakeholders across Trading, Market Structure, Operations, Technology, Legal, Compliance, Risk, and Control to ensure tokenized products are scalable, compliant, and aligned with the firm’s strategic objectives and Risk Management Framework.In this role, you will:Provide product vision, strategy, and direction for the firm’s tokenization initiatives, including tokenized US Equities, tokenized Fixed Income Securities, and other digital asset productsOwn and manage the product roadmap and delivery lifecycle for tokenized securities and digital assets, from ideation through implementation and BAU supportDefine business and functional requirements for tokenization platforms, including issuance, trading, settlement, custody, and lifecycle event managementPartner with front office, market structure, and platform teams to evaluate and enable new market models, including on‑chain and hybrid settlement constructsCollaborate closely with Technology to drive delivery of DLT‑based capabilities, smart contract frameworks, APIs, and integrations with existing trading and post‑trade systemsEngage with Legal, Compliance, Risk, and Control partners to ensure tokenized products meet regulatory, legal, and policy requirementsSupport establishment of governance, controls, procedures, and documentation around Tokenized Asset product offerings aligned with Wells Fargo’s risk and control standardsManage dependencies across custody, clearing, settlement, and asset servicing models, including evaluation of atomic settlement, DVP, and accelerated settlement paradigmsEvaluate and oversee third‑party vendors, platforms, and technology partners supporting tokenization initiativesIdentify, assess, and prioritize future tokenized asset opportunities, including new asset classes and market use casesServe as a domain expert to senior leadership, providing insights on tokenization trends, digital asset market structure, and strategic implications of industry initiativesRequired Qualifications:5+ years of Securities Product Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, educationDesired Qualifications:Experience in Product Management, Capital Markets, Digital Assets, or Market Infrastructure, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, or educationStrong understanding of Equities and Fixed Income market structure, including trading, settlement, and post‑trade workflowsExperience with tokenization, digital securities, or blockchain‑based market infrastructureFamiliarity with distributed ledger technology, smart contracts, and token standardsExperience supporting or delivering custody, settlement, or clearing capabilities for securities or digital assetsDemonstrated experience delivering complex platforms or strategic initiatives in a regulated financial institutionJob Expectations:Ability to travel as neededWillingness to work on-site in accordance with current office requirementsAbility to work additional hours as neededThis position is subject to FINRA background screening requirements.
