Accounting Clerk IWe are seeking an Accounting Clerk I to join our team in San Antonio. This role supports the day-to-day functions of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, and administrative accounting activities.This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build their accounting career within a collaborative team environment while gaining exposure to multiple areas of accounting operations.Responsibilities for the Accounting ClerkSupport daily Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activities, including data entry, posting, filing, and account maintenanceAssist with processing product and service contracts and maintaining related documentationSupport monthly billing activities and ensure accurate customer invoicingResearch and help resolve accounting discrepancies, account questions, and payment issuesAssist with expense report review and other accounting support functionsMaintain accurate records and support continuous improvement of accounting processes and workflowsProvide backup support for incoming calls and customer inquiries when neededCollaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate completion of accounting tasksPreferred Qualifications for the Accounting ClerkAt least 2 years of accounting experienceAssociate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred (or equivalent experience)Working knowledge of AP/AR processes and general accounting conceptsExperience with accounting systems (Acumatica is a plus)Comfortable using standard Windows-based programs
