Guidewire Integration Developer

Job Overview

Pay Range: $55hr - $60hr

Design, develop, and maintain integration solutions within Guidewire platforms including PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter.

Develop scalable and reusable integration modules using Guidewire integration best practices and object-oriented programming concepts.

Collaborate with business and technical teams to support insurance domain requirements related to policy, billing, and claims systems.

Design and develop APIs, adapters, plugins, batch processes, and middleware integrations to support enterprise applications.

Perform application development, testing, debugging, deployment, and maintenance activities within Guidewire environments.

Support software upgrades, code merges, release management, and environment management activities.

Work closely with Agile development teams to deliver high-quality software solutions across multiple environments and time zones.

Participate in solution architecture discussions, technical design reviews, sprint planning, and sprint demonstrations.

Develop and execute unit tests to validate business logic and integration functionality.

Support integration development across multi-tier applications, legacy systems, and relational database environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Guidewire integration solutions.

• Support software upgrades and environment management tasks.
• Collaborate with Agile teams on development and release activities.
• Participate in code reviews, sprint demos, and technical discussions.
• Develop reusable and scalable integration modules.
• Work with middleware platforms and enterprise integration tools.

Experience

• Experience in Guidewire integration development.
• Experience working within property and casualty insurance environments.
• Experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, or ClaimCenter integration development.
• Experience working with middleware platforms and enterprise integration solutions.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
• Experience leading development teams and collaborating across onshore and offshore teams.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of Java and GOSU programming.
• Knowledge of J2EE application servers, XML, web services, and relational databases.
• Understanding of object-oriented programming concepts and software design best practices.
• Ability to design, develop, and deploy complex integrations.
• Experience with source control, release management, and environment management.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Should Have

• Experience with middleware platforms such as MuleSoft, WebSphere ESB, WebMethods, or similar technologies.
• Experience designing batch processes and integration adapters.
• Experience performing Guidewire software upgrades.
• Guidewire certifications related to PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter, or Integration.

Qualification And Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
