The Medical Director –UCSF Women’s Health Primary Care Clinic provides clinical administration and supervises members of the Medical Staff in this UCSF Medical Center clinic. We are seeking a dedicated physician leader with a focus on women’s health in primary care , who are eager to:

- Exciting Outpatient Primary Care Opportunity in San Francisco – Mt. Zion Campus (located near Japantown) \n
- Medical Director leadership for a Women’s Health Primary Care practice \n
- Oversight of 12 physicians within an 18-provider practice (MDs and NPs) \n
- Adult primary care women’s health focus – no obstetrics \n
- Significant protected time for leadership, teaching, and academic work \n
- On-site, collegial practice with strong morale and long-tenured staff \n
- Work with Family Community and Internal Medicine physicians with a passion for women’s health \n
- Administrative time – allocated based on the number of clinical sessions, this protected time can be used for administrative duties, quality improvement projects, and creative activity \n
- Monday through Friday hours only – no weekend (office is also closed for 14 holidays throughout the year) \n
- Opportunities for medical student and resident teaching if desired \n

CLINICAL / ADMINISTRATIVE

- Expected distribution of professional effort includes: \n
- Clinical Care: Minimum 50% (4 clinical sessions/week) \n
- Medical Director duties: 25% \n
- Opportunities for Faculty Physicians to have 10-20% protected time for teaching or creative scholarly activities. \n

What We’re Looking For

- Board-certified or board-eligible Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physician with comprehensive outpatient care experience \n
- Ability to manage adult patients \n
- Strong commitment to patient-centered care, with interest in quality improvement and collaborative practice \n
