Rush Lounge - Bartender (Graveyard)

Bartender PositionThe Bartender is responsible for delivering extraordinary experiences to our guests with positive, courteous, and professional service. As a Bartender, it is your responsibility to seek to understand the guest's needs while preparing perfect beverages per spec in a timely manner. This individual will need to be quick on their feet and have an engaging attitude. This position must also exhibit a high level of professional and personalized guest service that embodies the Company's brand standard and core values (K.E.E.P. – Kindness, Engagement, Empathy and Positivity).Responsibilities:Consistently deliver positive, courteous, and professional guest service in all interactions with guests, visitors, vendors, and fellow employeesDiscover guest needs and suggests beverages to enhance their experience and meet sales goalsTake food orders for sit down and to-go ordersBe the master of the bar, understanding all aspects to promote a well-run shift by proper preparationMaintain par levels of all stock and supplies, garnishes, beer, wine, liquor, barware, etc.Responsible for keeping an accurate count of all money and comps received for guests and follow cash handling policiesQualifications:1 year of bartending experience1 year of food serving experience preferredRecord of delivering exceptional guest experienceEffective communication skillsAppropriate professional appearance and demeanorMust be available for various shifts including early morning, late nights, weekends, holidays, and long hoursTeam player with a guest first attitudeMinimum age of 21 years oldExperience preferred but will train willing individualBasic math skillsMust be able to speak and understand EnglishAbility to move throughout the hotel (standing, walking, kneeling, and bending) for extended periods of timeAbility to sit for extended periods of timeAbility to express or exchange ideas verbally and perceive sound by earAbility to regularly move objects (lift, push, pull, balance, carry) up to 50 poundsConstantly walking up to distances of 500 ft. during shiftFrequently stooping, reachingWork performed indoors in a climate-controlled environmentThere are occasional hot and cold temperature changesWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to a smoke-filled environmentWork with others in close spacesModerate to high noise levelsWalk/stand on tile/mats/carpet/cementPay Range: USD $12.00 - USD $12.00 /Hr.
