Receive incoming materials, equipment, chemicals, and supplies, verifying quantities and descriptions against purchase orders, packing slips, invoices, and bills of lading.
- Inspect incoming shipments for damage, shortages, discrepancies, and accuracy, and report any issues to the appropriate supervisor or vendor.
- Prepare, package, label, and process outgoing shipments for domestic and international delivery.
- Generate shipping labels, bills of lading, packing lists, and other required shipping and receiving documentation.
- Pick, pack, stage, load, and unload materials for shipment using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by entering receipts, shipments, and stock transactions into ERP or warehouse management systems such as SAP.
- Store materials in designated warehouse locations and ensure proper identification, labeling, and organization.
- Perform physical inventory counts, cycle counts, and stock reconciliations to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Coordinate with purchasing, production, vendors, carriers, and internal departments to ensure timely delivery and resolve shipment discrepancies.
- Maintain organized, clean, and safe warehouse and storage areas.
- Follow company safety policies, environmental health and safety (EHS) procedures, and applicable shipping and transportation regulations.
- Handle chemicals and other regulated materials according to applicable safety, labeling, storage, and transportation requirements.
- Maintain accurate shipping, receiving, and inventory records and assist with warehouse reports and other logistics activities as assigned.
