Field Service Technician-White Plains NY

Title: Field Service Technician I Location: White Plains, NY Responsibilities Act as first‑line response to customers, communicating in an open, helpful, and engaging manner. Triage customer issues, handle problems before they arise, and provide solutions based on formal training. Perform installation, maintenance, and service calls promptly and effectively. Service electromechanical equipment such as self‑checkout systems within an assigned territory. Perform maintenance, repair, preventive maintenance (PM) work, and system overhauls. Basic Qualifications Local candidate for White Plains, NY area. Authorized to work in the United States and at least 18 years of age. Valid driver’s license with a driving record satisfying NCR fleet requirements. Basic PC skills, electronic skills, and familiarity with hardware and operating systems. Height and weight handling: carrying and lifting tools, parts, and equipment up to 75lbs without assistance, up to 150lbs with assistance. Ability to bend, squat, walk, stand, sit, reach, and manipulate objects of varying size. Willingness to be trained on and operate small‑scale scissor lifts in retail environments. Ability to perform essential functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation. Prolonged travel with driving several hours per day; rotating and weekend shifts; flexible shift work within set teams. Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with large servers, mainframe computers, and imaging software. CompTIA certifications such as A+, N+, or equivalent. One or more years of related experience. Benefits Hourly Pay Range: $17.00 to $20.83 depending on location and experience. Overtime available at time and a half. 7 paid holidays and 6 paid floating holidays.
