This full-time, contract opportunity focuses on working with secondary students in a Structured Learning Classroom (SLC) setting, dedicated to learners with intensive academic, behavioral, communication, or adaptive needs.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education or related field
- Valid certification as a Special Education Teacher
- Experience working with secondary students is preferred
- Expertise in developing, implementing, and monitoring IEPs
- Knowledge of strategies for supporting students with intensive needs
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a secondary Structured Learning Classroom, providing direct instructional support
- Design and implement lesson plans targeting individual student IEP goals
- Track and document student progress, adapting approaches to support growth
- Collaborate with general educators, support staff, and families to support student success
- Implement behavioral, academic, and adaptive interventions tailored to each learner
- Maintain a positive, safe, and structured classroom environment
