You'll serve as an Elementary Resource Teacher, working full-time with students who have learning disabilities, behavioral needs, and mild to moderate disabilities. Qualifications and Experience Sought:

• Current Kansas teaching license with endorsement in elementary education or High Incidence Special Education required
• Experience designing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) preferred
• Ability to support students with learning disabilities, behavioral challenges, and mild/moderate exceptionalities
• Strong communication skills with students, staff, and families
• Flexible approach and commitment to fostering a positive, accommodating classroom environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide targeted instruction and interventions as a resource teacher to elementary students
• Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and support staff
• Monitor individualized student progress and adjust strategies to ensure growth and success
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation in line with state and federal regulations
• Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and school-wide initiatives
• Model patience, encouragement, and respect while supporting social-emotional and academic development
