Position Overview

The Service Dispatch & Order Processing Clerk is responsible for delivering high-quality customer support in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. This role serves as a key point of contact for customers by coordinating service calls with technicians, processing orders, and ensuring timely shipment of parts. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Answer and manage a high volume of incoming calls and emails in a professional and timely manner
• Coordinate and dispatch service calls between customers and field technicians
• Process customer orders, service requests, and work orders with accuracy and efficiency
• Serve as a liaison between customers, technicians, and internal departments to resolve inquiries and service issues
• Track shipments and monitor delivery timelines to ensure timely arrival of parts and equipment
• Provide customers with order updates, shipment tracking information, and service status as needed
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, service activity, and order details
• Support inventory-related activities, including returns, transfers, and documentation
• Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and resolution of issues
• Assist with additional administrative and operational duties as needed

Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer service, dispatching, or order processing
• Ability to handle high call volumes while maintaining accuracy and professionalism
• Strong multitasking and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with ERP or order management systems
• High attention to detail and strong data entry accuracy
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

Preferred Skills

• Experience coordinating service technicians or field operations
• Knowledge of shipping, logistics, or inventory tracking processes
