This role is in Textron System’s Weapon Systems business area. Primary Responsibilities Design, develop, and document automated acceptance test equipment for new and existing electronic products and assist with transition of this equipment to Production Test Engineering. Develop testing requirements based on engineering design documentation and hardware. Create functional test stations using advanced PXI, LAN, and USB technologies for automated parametric measurements, maintaining a modular, flexible, and scalable design approach. Determine measurement techniques, procure instrumentation, and implement test systems to verify requirements. Interface with product development teams to establish appropriate test strategy and coverage for functional requirements. Grow electrical engineering expertise, including analog/digital circuits, cable design, and debugging of electrical assemblies. Author process, test, and calibration procedures. Produce clear, understandable documentation for all audiences. Qualifications B.S. in Electrical Engineering with at least 2 years’ experience developing instrument‑driven test equipment. Experience programming in LabVIEW or Python. Strong problem‑isolation and troubleshooting skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to work in a team‑oriented environment. Existing U.S. Security Clearance desired; ability to obtain one required. Compensation is based on candidate experience and qualifications. In compliance with the local pay transparency law, the pay range for this position is $92,600 - $139,600 per year.
