Overview
Respiratory Therapist (Registered Respiratory Therapist) position in Lodi, California. Travel assignment starts on 10/12/2026 for 13 weeks at a short-term acute care hospital. Weekly pay range: $2,013–$2,077 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: 3x12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM–7:30 PM). Responsibilities
- Assess and document prescribed respiratory therapies for adult and geriatric patients
- Administer aerosol and oxygen therapies, including care for ventilator patients, per physician orders and policy
- Draw arterial blood gases and interpret results in collaboration with the care team
- Provide care to patients on ventilation, adjusting or initiating therapy per protocol
- Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record, including flow sheets and charge capture
- Support training and supervision of new staff as delegated and participate in department activities as required

Requirements
- Active California Respiratory Care Practitioner license
- NBRC-RRT or NBRC-CRT credential (Registered or Certified by the NBRC) required in CA
- BLS/CPR certification from an approved vendor; ACLS certification required
- PALS certification required
- NRP certification preferred; PEARS certification preferred
- Minimum two years of recent respiratory care experience; three years preferred
- Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent (some certifications require Bachelor's); Master's Degree preferred
- Current nursing license per the state of assignment (California)
