HR ManagerAt Hobart Brothers, our people are at the center of everything we do. We're looking for an experienced and passionate HR Manager who enjoys being visible, building relationships, solving complex challenges, and making a meaningful impact across a manufacturing organization.This role serves as the primary HR partner for leaders and employees across multiple manufacturing locations operating in a 24/5 environment. No two days are the same. You'll work closely with plant leaders, frontline employees, and the HR team to strengthen culture, develop talent, support business growth, and ensure our employees have an exceptional workplace experience.If you're energized by being on the plant floor, coaching leaders, navigating employee relations, driving talent initiatives, and influencing positive change, this role offers the opportunity to make a tangible difference while growing your HR career.As a trusted business partner, you will:Support leaders and employees across multiple manufacturing locations and all shifts, helping create a positive, engaging, and high-performing work environment.Build strong relationships with employees at every level and serve as a trusted resource for coaching, guidance, and problem-solving.Champion a culture built on ITW's core values of Trust, Respect, Integrity, Shared Risk, and Simplicity.Partner with leaders to navigate employee relations matters, provide coaching, and support organizational effectiveness.Lead and support recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and retention efforts for both manufacturing and professional positions.Collaborate with leaders on talent development, succession planning, and employee growth opportunities.Help drive employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, team-building activities, and inclusion efforts.Support performance management, compensation planning, and workforce planning initiatives.Ensure compliance with employment laws, company policies, and HR best practices.Participate in strategic projects that improve employee experience and business performance.What Makes This Role UniqueMulti-site responsibility that provides broad business exposure and opportunities to influence multiple teams.24/5 manufacturing operations, offering the chance to partner with leaders and employees across all shifts.A highly visible position where your ideas, leadership, and HR expertise will directly impact culture and business results.The opportunity to balance strategic initiatives with hands-on employee support.A collaborative HR team committed to continuous improvement, employee development, and operational excellence.What You BringWe're looking for someone who combines strong HR expertise with a genuine passion for people.Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.3+ years HR generalist experience, preferably within a manufacturing or operations environment.Experience managing employee relations issues with professionalism, fairness, and sound judgment.Strong communication and coaching skills, with the ability to build trust and influence at all levels of the organization.Experience supporting recruiting, onboarding, talent development, and performance management processes.Knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance practices.Strong organizational and project management skills in a fast-paced environment.A proactive, adaptable mindset and a desire to continuously learn and grow.Experience with HR technology platforms such as Workday, SmartRecruiters, or similar systems is a plus.Why Join Hobart Brothers?At Hobart Brothers, you'll join a team that values collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
