Description

• Assess patients in inpatient and outpatient environments and formulate personalized treatment plans
• Implement physical therapy procedures emphasizing mobility, strength, balance, and overall function
• Work alongside nurses, doctors, case managers, and rehabilitation specialists to maximize patient outcomes
• Provide education to patients and their families on therapeutic objectives, discharge strategies, and home exercise programs
• Maintain accurate records of patient evaluations, treatments, and progress in compliance with institutional and regulatory protocols
• Engage in collaborative care team meetings and multi-disciplinary discussions to ensure seamless patient management

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent qualifications from an accredited institution

Certifications

• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist
• CPR certification is preferred
• Specialization certifications (neuro or geriatric-focused) are advantageous but not mandatory

Skills

• Previous experience is strongly preferred
