The Lead Minister will serve as the primary spiritual leader and shepherd for the congregation, working collaboratively with the elders and staff to guide the church into a healthy, unified, and mission-focused next chapter. This role is centered on preaching and teaching God’s Word, shepherding the congregation, and leading staff and ministry teams in alignment with the church’s mission and values. The Lead Minister works closely with an elder-led leadership structure, helping to discern and implement vision while fostering a healthy, collaborative culture among leaders, staff, and volunteers. This is a full-time role for someone who senses a clear calling to walk patiently with people, strengthen unity, and help the church move forward with clarity and hope. Responsibilities Preach and teach Scripture-grounded sermons on Sunday mornings Provide spiritual leadership and vision in partnership with the elders Lead and support the church staff, encouraging coordination and unity across ministries Oversee and promote adult discipleship, including small groups and Bible-based teaching Champion evangelism, prayer, missions, and community outreach Serve as a visible pastoral presence through visitation, relationship-building, and care for congregants Act as an ambassador for Christ and the church within the Marshall community #J-18808-Ljbffr Kentucky Christian University
