We are seeking dedicated CT Technologists to manage various responsibilities while delivering safe, competent, and compassionate care to diverse patient populations in settings such as hospitals, outpatient clinics, skilled nursing facilities, and rehabilitation centers. More specifically, CT Techs who can:

Basic Job Requirements

• Active, unencumbered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) license from the state in which you plan to work, with ARRT (CT) advanced certification
• Push, pull, support, and lift a minimum of 80 pounds
• Physical stamina to handle long hours of standing and walking
• Current CPR certification (Basic Life Support)
• Annual physical
• Negative TB test results
• COVID-19 Vaccination**

Job Responsibilities

As a ShiftMed CT Technologist, you'll be responsible for but not limited to:

• Preparing and positioning patients for CT imaging procedures
• Operating CT scanners to produce quality diagnostic images
• Selecting appropriate scan protocols and performing image reconstruction
• Administering IV contrast media per facility protocol and monitoring patients for reactions
• Following radiologic safety, ALARA, and infection control standards
• Accurately documenting procedures and maintaining patient records
• Communicating with radiologists, physicians, and staff to ensure high-quality care
• Maintaining equipment and reporting malfunctions
• Assisting with patient transport and mobility as needed
• Promoting a positive work environment and demonstrating a positive attitude

*Hourly pay rates may differ based on the location of ShiftMed healthcare facility partners. All advertised rates reflect the wages ShiftMed partner facilities are currently offering. Hourly rates fluctuate throughout the week depending on the facility you schedule shifts with.

**ShiftMed adheres to CMS and local Department of Health guidance on COVID-19 vaccinations. Healthcare professionals must be up to date on all recommended COVID-19 vaccinations, including a booster dose when required. Healthcare professionals not up to date on COVID-19 vaccination doses may be required to undergo weekly testing and comply with mask mandates at ShiftMed client facilities. Vaccinated workers may still be subject to regular COVID-19 symptom screenings, including temperature and symptom checks.
