As a Security Officer Armed Protection Patrol in New Orleans, LA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol officer at a commercial real estate location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong communication and customer service. In this role, you will bring integrity, teamwork, and reliability to every shift while contributing to a caring, agile, and innovative culture.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting local law enforcement and/or emergency personnel when needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout office buildings, lobbies, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry when required, and document incidents, observations, and/or unusual conditions in detailed written reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• An armed guard card and/or license is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
