Join Allied Universal as an Armed Security Officer at a commercial real estate location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will support daily operations with professionalism, integrity, and teamwork while helping create a welcoming environment through an agile, reliable, and caring approach.

Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour
Job Schedule:
DayTimeMon10:00 AM - 07:00 PMSat08:00 AM - 04:00 PMSun02:00 PM - 10:00 PMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, tenants, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a commercial property location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to site contacts and/or local authorities when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, contractors, visitors, and/or vendors while following post orders and property rules.
- Support day-to-day operations by completing incident reports, communicating clearly with tenants and management, and assisting with medical, fire, and/or other emergency situations as directed by site procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- An armed guard card or license is required.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
