You accurately document patient financial details, obtain necessary authorizations, and communicate effectively with both patients and branch locations. Your role involves managing tasks efficiently, resolving patient inquiries promptly, and negotiating rates to provide the best possible service.Primary Responsibilities:Verifies insurance eligibility and benefits of prospects/referralsCommunicates patient benefits in a timely mannerDocuments and forwards patient deductible, out-of-pocket expense, life time maximum, home health or hospice days, and patient responsibility to agency in an accurate and timely mannerReviews and replies to branch location's urgent requests in a timely and accurate mannerInitiates one time letters of agreement (LOAs) and negotiates rates as dictated by established policies and proceduresObtains and documents all authorization as needed from payer for services ordered/requested in a timely mannerServes as a liaison between the branch location and the payerResolves all customer requests, inquiries, and concerns in an expedient and respectful mannerYou'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:1+ years of experience with insurance verification and authorizationPreferred Qualifications:Revenue cycle experienceExcellent oral and written communication skills.Excellent organizational and analytical skillsBasic PC skills including PC based applications (MS Word, Excel)Mathematical aptitudeDetail OrientedPay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $14.00 to $28.80 per hour based on full-time employment.
