Join Our Dynamic ICU Team!

Job Description:

- Shift: 12H Days (0645-1915); Every Other Weekend Required
- Unit Type: ICU with 16 beds
- Patient Ratios: 1:2
- Required Certifications:
- ACLS
- BLS
- NIHSS
- Common Diagnoses:
- Cardiac
- Respiratory
- Experience Required:
- Acute Care
- Critical Care
- Responsibilities:
- Titrate drips for medications such as Levophed, Propofol, Insulin, Dopamine, Neosynephrine, Precedex
- Engage in patient care with RN colleagues
- Additional Details:
- Charge Nurse/House Supervisor present
- Hospitalist or Intensivist in-house
- Respiratory Therapist available 24/7
- Equipped with RT equipment including vents, CPAP, BiPAP, etc.
- Telemetry capabilities with RNs reading strips independently
- Orientation:
- 2 shifts of unit/department-specific training provided
- Cancellation Policy:
- Hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment, 3 shifts for shorter assignments
- Charting System: MEDITECH
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Contract Length: 91 weeks
