Position Overview:
The Internal Medicine Medical Director provides clinical oversight and leadership for the facility’s internal medicine services, ensuring high standards of patient care, documentation accuracy, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide medical supervision and oversight for the advanced practice providers (APPs) performing inpatient rounding.
• Review and co-sign charts to ensure quality, accuracy, and appropriate follow-up of patient care.
• Conduct routine in-person supervision (approximately 10 hours per week ) on-site at Triangle Springs.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies, regulatory standards, and clinical best practices.
• Collaborate with psychiatric and clinical leadership to promote integrated, multidisciplinary patient care.
• Participate in periodic performance evaluations and case reviews as needed.

Position Type:

• Contracted part-time role (approximately 10 hours per week ).
• Flexible scheduling – hours may be completed over 3–4 days per week; no requirement for five contiguous workdays.
• Primarily supervisory and administrative in nature - minimal or no direct patient rounding required.
