Neurosurgery Nurse Practitioner (NP) – $169/HR | UCSF Health | 25-Week Contract

Prime Staffing is seeking an experienced Neurosurgery Nurse Practitioner for a full-time outpatient assignment with UCSF Health in San Francisco, CA.

Pay Rate: $169/HR

Location: San Francisco, CA

Start Date: ASAP / July 20, 2026
⏳ Contract Length: 25 Weeks

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
No Weekends | No Call | No Holidays

Position Highlights

• Full-time outpatient Neurosurgery Spine clinic
• Work alongside 5 surgeons, 2 physiatrists, and a team of 7 APPs
• Epic EMR
• Adult patient population
• Average 20–25 patients per day
• No inpatient responsibilities
• No OR time
• Manage follow-up visits, post-op care, imaging orders, medication management, patient triage, and clinical consultations

Requirements

✅ Active California NP License (or eligible for CA licensure)
✅ DEA License with Schedule II authority
✅ Current BLS Certification
✅ 2-3+ years of Neurosurgery Spine, Neuro-Spine, Orthopedic Spine, or Pain Management experience
✅ Comfortable conducting independent patient consults
✅ Experience managing spine patients required
✅ Academic Medical Center experience strongly preferred
✅ Epic experience preferred
