Compensation $12.00 to $15.00 per hour Easily achievable commission structure that pays you for every transaction you process. Best working hours: most stores open 9AM–6PM; many stores are closed on Sundays. Earned Wage Access program available from the second day of employment; employees can withdraw up to 50% of earned wages up to seven times per payroll cycle. Paid vacation: one week after six months of service; an additional week after one year; two weeks on each subsequent anniversary; after five years, 120 hours of vacation. Position Summary We are seeking entry‑level, full‑time sales associates in our pawn store locations nationwide. A Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate partners with the entire store staff to ensure customer service on both the lending and retail sides of the business. The associate greets, engages, and interacts with customers in a positive and professional manner to process sales, loans, and other transactions. They work with a wide variety of merchandise, including tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations), and more. Responsibilities Greets and interacts with all customers to develop rapport and recommend appropriate financial solutions. Performs non‑management open/close procedures. Maintains a clean, stocked sales floor and displays merchandise attractively. Performs sales and loan transactions in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Handles all cash and negotiable items in accordance with established policies and regulatory requirements. Answers incoming calls per company standards. Effectively communicates legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers. Communicates effectively with coworkers and managers, displaying respect and using effective communication tools. Partners with all employees to create a positive and memorable customer experience. Successfully completes assigned training. Other related duties as assigned. Qualifications Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds. Must be willing and able to perform duties for extended periods of time, including standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting. Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified. Employees may be asked to assist a customer outside the building or retrieve products from exterior storage areas. Minimum age: 18 years old. High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience. Strong desire to serve customers and work as part of a team. Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment. Ability to perform basic math calculations proficiently. Cash handling experience is preferred. Ability to work in multiple locations as business needs dictate. Must be able to work a flexible retail schedule based on business needs, including weekends and holidays. Computer literate and able to operate POS systems and common office machines. Bilingual applicants are encouraged to apply. Commission Plan The employee commission incentive plan is proprietary to FirstCash. Pawnbrokers can earn 2–8% commission based on the gross profit of their personal performance. Details of the plan will be provided during the interview process.
