Role Overview As an Optometric Assistant, you play a vital role in supporting our optometrists in delivering comprehensive eye care services. You’ll assist with patient exams, procedures, and follow‑ups, ensuring a seamless and compassionate experience for every patient. Your work directly contributes to improving vision health and overall well‑being in the communities we serve. What You Will Do Assist the doctor with comprehensive visual exams, medical exams, and in-office minor procedures. Perform preliminary testing and support contact lens follow‑ups. Enter patient information into electronic medical records accurately. Conduct contact lens classes and provide patient education. Handle post-exam follow‑up and support duties to ensure patient care continuity. Qualifications What You Will Need Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Basic math skills. Preferred Qualifications Previous customer service or optometric tech experience. Computer and/or electronic medical records knowledge.
