CVOR Certified Surgical Technologist
Location: Aurora, CO
Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule: Day Shift: 7 AM - 5 PM
Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced CVOR Certified Surgical Technologist to join our team. As a CVOR Tech, you will play a critical role in the cardiovascular operating room, supporting surgical teams and ensuring a safe and efficient environment for our patients.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in cardiovascular surgical procedures, including CABG, AAA, TAVR, and valve replacements.
- Prepare and maintain the sterile field during procedures.
- Collaborate effectively with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and care.
- Operate surgical equipment as required and assist with preparing instruments and supplies.
- Monitor patient's condition and respond to emergencies as needed.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Minimum 1-year current acute care CVOR Tech hospital experience.
- BLS, DORA, and NBSTA Certifications must be current and in hand.
- Proficiency in open heart surgical procedures is essential.
