Travel Inpatient Care Coordinator - $3,686 per week

LanceSoft is seeking a travel nurse RN Case Management for a travel nursing job in Sitka, Alaska.

Experience

• Minimum 8 years of clinical nursing experience - Required
• Minimum 3 years of experience in chart review, utilization review, risk management, quality services, or related field - Required
• Experience with utilization management (UM), case management (CM), and discharge care planning (DCP) - Required
• Experience reviewing medical necessity, level of care, length of stay, and reimbursement requirements - Required
• Experience collaborating with physicians, leadership, and interdisciplinary teams - Required
• Experience with patient progression, discharge planning, and care coordination - Required
• Experience processing denials, appeals, utilization review documentation, and payer communications - Required
• Knowledge of CMS regulations, medical necessity review, reimbursement guidelines, ICD-9, CPT coding, medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and disease processes - Required
• Strong assessment, organizational, communication, leadership, and critical thinking skills - Required

License

• Active Alaska RN License at time of submission - Required

Certifications

• BLS - Required
• Case Management Certification (CCM, NCQA, or equivalent) - Preferred
• Flu Vaccination - Required
