Minimum Qualifications:

• Current certification as a Nurse Assistant (CNA) recognized by the state of employment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited CNA training program.
• Ability to pass a background check and meet health screening requirements.
• Strong communication skills and basic proficiency in English.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in a healthcare or long-term care facility.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Bilingual abilities to support diverse patient populations.
• Additional training or certification in specialized care areas such as geriatrics or rehabilitation.

Responsibilities:

• Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, eating, and mobility.
• Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure, reporting any abnormalities to nursing staff.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to patients, fostering a comforting and respectful environment.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of patient rooms and care areas, adhering to infection control and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals to implement patient care plans and respond to patient needs promptly.
