Director, New Product & Manufacturing Test Engineering
Startup Medical Device Firm
Startup, well-funded, dynamic, medical device firm seeks individual to oversee new product and test engineering. Ideal candidate will have a firm grasp of test development and ability to execute(unit tests, integration tests, functional tests and performance tests. Proficiency in Python, C, Matlab or ROS for automation, test script creation and robot control. Understanding of robotic systems and components such as motors, brakes, and gear boxes. Working knowledge of embedded system design to the degree of implementing tests around robotic hardware. A BS/MS in Computer Science or EE would be preferred. This firm's technology consists of implants and delivery systems, utilizing robotics to treat mitral valve disease. They have about 160 employees.
