Description What You'll Be Responsible For

• Conduct routine and advanced laboratory assessmentsspanning chemistry, hematology, immunology, and morefollowing established protocols with diligence.
• Evaluate test outcomes for precision, address discrepancies, and carry out maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Assist with the collection of specimens and prepare samples for various tests as necessary.
• Thoroughly document all procedures, train new team members or students, and contribute to the maintenance of laboratory quality standards.
• Ensure a clean, safe laboratory environment while adhering to all regulatory and accreditation requirements.

Education Requirements

• Must possess a Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or an equivalent allied health qualification along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications Needed

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within the first year of employment.
• Must sustain current certification throughout the duration of employment.
