Electronics Engineer III, Electrical Ground Support Equipment

Position: Electronics Engineer Location: Not supporting teleworking. You will be located near Lockheed Martin Space facility in Sunnyvale, CA. Expected to work flexible 9x80 schedule on site full-time. Key activities you will accomplish in this role: Design console level, box level, and board level test equipment used to stimulate and measure components and functionality of space vehicles. Take ownership of the design, production, deployment, and operation of the complex test equipment delivered. To be effective in this role, you will need: 3+ years of professional experience in electronics engineering. Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance; US citizenship is required. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor of Science or higher in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience/education. Professional working knowledge of circuit design and analysis. Ability to obtain and maintain Secret clearance; US citizenship is required. Desired Skills: Significant experience with design, development and integration of Automated Test Equipment or Special Test Equipment. Familiarity and knowledge of Power Systems design. Working knowledge of lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, DMMs, signal generators, spectrum analyzers. Strong background in cross-discipline systems engineering practices including requirements development/maintenance, architecture, hardware/software design, integration and verification. DoD Secret clearance is a plus. Security Clearance Statement: Position requires a government security clearance; must be a US Citizen. Clearance Level: Secret. Pay Rate: Annual base salary range for California, Massachusetts and New York (excluding major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $85,500 - $150,765. For other states, range will reflect final work location.
