Work Schedule Monday- Friday | 40 hours per week 6:15 AM – 6:00 PM (Occasional overtime on field trip and pool days) Key Responsibilities As a basicREC Program Assistant, you will: Supervise and engage children in recreational activities, including sports, crafts, and games. Foster a safe, positive, and inclusive environment for all participants. Support children with daily tasks, including transitions between activities. Maintain program records and assist with facility cleanliness. Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and community partners. Follow department and school policies to ensure a safe experience for all. Qualifications High school diploma or GED equivalent. Minimum age of 18 years at the time of application required. Willingness to work indoor/outdoor during the summer season. All positions are subject to a criminal background check for any convictions that relate to the job duties and responsibilities.
