Role Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive, ongoing medical care to patients of all ages, from children through to seniors.
• Address chronic illnesses, preventive care, acute health issues, and mental wellness, prioritizing patient needs.
• Perform thorough physical evaluations, analyze diagnostic results, and craft customized treatment strategies.
• Collaborate closely with care coordinators, behavioral health specialists, and various healthcare professionals to ensure well-rounded patient care.
• Engage in quality improvement initiatives that drive better patient outcomes and enhance operational efficiency.
• Manage patient records accurately using electronic medical record systems.
• Provide care through traditional in-person visits as well as virtual appointments, adapting to patient preferences.

Education Requirements

• MD or DO from a recognized medical institution.
• Completion of a Family Medicine residency program accredited by the ACGME.

Certifications

• Board Certification in Family Medicine.
• Possession of (or eligibility for) an active Oregon state medical license.
• Preferred certifications in BLS and ACLS.
