Accounts Receivable Analyst -(Medical)

JOB SUMMARY: Under moderate supervision, provides support for month-end closing requirements
including fixed assets, journal entries, banking, financial reporting and
closing requirements. Acts as a liaison between multiple departments to resolve
issues or answer inquiries. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Performs senior accounting functions including monthly account
reconciliations, monitoring certain monthly accruals and preparing journal
entries in order to ensure proper reporting financials.
* Maintains and analyzes fixed asset ledger in order to ensure purchases are
classified properly and fall within budget.
* Performs and analyzes monthly closing and various daily activities in
relation to inventory and cash management.
* Ensures internal controls are operating correctly with the goal of zero
deficiencies through JSOX auditing.
* Performs financial analysis and assists in financial reporting activities in
order to ensure proper recording of transactions.
* Investigates and analyzes accounting and financial related data in order to
reconcile and audit information.
* Performs more complex intercompany account reconciliation.
* Assists with process improvement activities including maintaining and
implementing internal controls.
* Acts as a liaison between internal departments and other DENSO locations in
order to resolve outstanding issues.
* Performs monthly financial reporting as needed.
* Performs other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: * Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
* 3+ Years of Related Experience SKILLS AND ABILITIES: * Must also have knowledge of GAAP/IFRS.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills to discuss or transmit
primarily factual information to internal and external customers in the
normal course of performing duties
* Strong analytical skills to investigate, interpret and reconcile information
from several distinct sources in situations where conclusions or resolutions
are discernible
* Customer service skills to display a service-oriented attitude in addressing
and responding to customer issues
* Intermediate understanding of accounting principles
* Cross functional team member
* Process improvement mindset
* Intermediate system knowledge
* Maintains full ownership of D-café
