Mechanical HVAC Engineer for Data Centers

We are expanding our Advanced Manufacturing Group and seeking a talented Mechanical HVAC Engineer to focus on our Data Center market. This role offers the opportunity to work with cutting‑edge technology and collaborate with a dynamic team. Your contributions will play a vital role in the success of our Data Center clients by delivering innovative HVAC design solutions. You will be involved in: Designing and laying out HVAC systems for diverse clients, including electric vehicles, data centers, and heavy industrial facilities. Establishing design criteria for HVAC systems, ensuring effective temperature, humidity control, and specific cleanliness requirements. Creating conceptual and preliminary design documents, performing calculations, and developing Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs). Developing detailed ductwork layouts based on P&IDs. Producing final design documents including specifications, sequences of operation, piping layouts, and construction documents. Coordinating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure project success. Utilizing your multi‑tasking abilities and organizational skills to manage challenging engineering tasks. To be successful in this role, you should have: A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in HVAC system design. In-depth knowledge of relevant codes and standards. A Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Strong adaptability to fast‑paced team environments with multiple deadlines. The ability to lead a mechanical team and collaborate effectively with remote discipline members. Preferred Qualifications A Professional Engineering License. Proficiency in software such as Revit, AutoCAD, Carrier HAP, Trane Trace 700, and Trane Trace 3D. Experience in designing plumbing/utility systems.
