Job Details Specialty: Emergency Room (ER) / Emergency Department Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (Travel RN) Duration: 13 weeks Shift Duration: 12-hour nights Schedule: 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM; weekdays with some weekends and rotating holidays Hours per Week: 36 Weekend Coverage: 8 weekend shifts per contract Orientation: 36 hours Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,830 - $1,930 Location: Columbus, Ohio Start Date: 10/5/2026 Job Requirements 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience required Current compact or state RN license in hand at time of submission BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required Epic charting experience required Previous travel nursing experience preferred Experience caring for patients across the lifespan, including pediatrics and geriatrics Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and floating assignments as needed Education must be from an ACEN- or CCNE-accredited nursing program Responsibilities Deliver high-quality emergency nursing care in a fast-paced ER setting Assess, triage, and prioritize patients with variable acuity levels Administer medications, IV therapy, blood products, and emergency interventions as indicated Monitor and manage patients with neurologic, cardiac, trauma, and medical emergencies Collaborate closely with physicians, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, radiology, and other clinical support teams Maintain accurate clinical documentation in Epic Provide safe, compassionate patient care while supporting efficient patient flow Float within units of equivalent or lower acuity when needed Why Apply for This Columbus ER Travel Nurse Job?
