Job Details Specialty: Emergency Department / ER Holding Setting: Oncology Pod Emergency Department Location: Columbus, Ohio 43210 Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (Travel RN) Shift: 12-hour nights Schedule: 3 shifts per week Hours Per Week: 36 Assignment Length: 13 weeks Orientation: 76 hours Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,830 - $1,930 Job Requirements Active Registered Nurse license in hand at the time of submission Minimum of 2 years of recent Emergency Department RN experience required At least 1 year of travel nursing experience required Current hands-on acute care experience in the specialty required Epic charting experience required ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications required Experience with a 1:4 patient ratio preferred Ability to work night shifts and float as needed Professional references required at submission Responsibilities Deliver safe, high-quality emergency nursing care in a fast-paced ED environment Care for adolescent, adult, pediatric, and geriatric patients Support oncology patients presenting with urgent and complex medical needs Perform triage and prioritize care in a high-acuity setting Start and maintain IVs, administer emergency medications, and support telemetry monitoring Assist with BiPAP/CPAP management, ventilated patient care, and blood product administration Interpret dysrhythmias and obtain 12-lead EKGs/ECGs Support stroke, STEMI, and trauma protocols as appropriate Maintain infection control practices and collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams Provide compassionate, efficient patient care while adapting to changing clinical needs Apply now for this Columbus, Ohio Emergency Department Registered Nurse travel assignment and join a healthcare team making a difference every shift.
