Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for each patient using the nursing process
• Provide education to patients and families from admission through discharge
• Administer medications and perform treatments accurately; implement physician orders as written; document the nursing process clearly
• Notify the physician of pertinent observations and changes in patient status; collaborate with the healthcare team
• Ensure equipment and supplies are readily available; report malfunctions to the proper department
• Support and supervise co-workers as appropriate; delegate tasks according to role and patient needs

Requirements

• Valid, active RN license to practice in the State of Ohio
• Current CPR certification
• Education: Associate degree in nursing; Bachelor's degree preferred
• Experience: Previous nursing experience preferred
• Ability to work in an ER environment within a hospital setting
