Registered Nurse – Med Surg (Travel) | Lancaster, OH | Start 08/24/2026 | 13 weeks | $1,859–$1,935 per week | 36 guaranteed hours per week | Shift: 3x12-hour Nights | Short Term Acute Care Hospital setting | Travel - Temporary Assignment through Healthforce Healthcare LLC

Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for assigned Med Surg patients using the nursing process.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately; monitor patient responses and report changes to the physician.
- Provide education to patients and families from admission through discharge; document the nursing process clearly and concisely.
- Notify the physician of pertinent observations and changes in patient status; coordinate with the health care team to ensure continuity of care.
- Supervise and direct the work of nursing assistants as appropriate; ensure supplies and equipment are available and report equipment malfunctions.
- Adhere to established policies, procedures, and guidelines; contribute to a safe, patient-centered care environment.

Requirements
- Current Ohio RN license (active)
- CPR certification required
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program (Diploma, ADN, or BSN)
- Prior RN experience preferred; Med Surg in a high-acuity setting is a plus
- Ability to work the listed night shift (7:00 PM–7:30 AM) in a Med Surg environment; strong communication, critical thinking, and multitasking skills
