Key Highlights Weekly pay: $1,751-$1,874 per week Guaranteed hours: 0 per week Contract duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights, 3x12-hour shifts Start date: 08/03/2026 Work setting: hospital medical/surgical unit Responsibilities Provide nursing care to patients on the medical/surgical unit, with attention to adolescent, adult, and geriatric ages. Plan, coordinate, and deliver care, including vital signs, medication administration, and monitoring for physiological changes and psychosocial needs. Develop and implement care plans, perform ongoing assessments, document patient status, and adjust care as needed. Orient to supervising and delegating certain tasks to ancillary personnel (e.g., CNAs) within their scope of practice. Support discharge planning and patient/family education, ensuring safe transitions and continuity of care. Requirements Active Registered Nurse license in California (or eligibility) to practice in the state. Ability to work 3x12-night shifts in a hospital Med/Surg setting. Capacity to care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients; strong assessment and care-planning skills. Proficiency in recognizing changes in patient condition and communicating with the interdisciplinary team. Demonstrated teamwork and the ability to collaborate with CNAs and other staff within scope of practice.
