Automotive Marketing Manager – Digital Content & Social Media Scranton Chevrolet of Norwich | Norwich, CT Full-Time | On-Site | Interviewing and Hiring Now Create Content That Brings Customers Through the Door Scranton Chevrolet of Norwich is looking for a creative, hands-on Automotive Marketing Manager who can turn vehicles, people, and everyday dealership moments into content customers want to watch. This role is for someone who can spot a story on the showroom floor, write a compelling hook, shoot and edit the video, choose the right music, publish it, and learn from the results. You’ll have room to bring your ideas to life and make a visible impact on our Norwich dealership. We’re part of the Scranton family of dealerships, alongside Scranton Motors in Vernon. The family’s automotive legacy began in 1952 and continues today under its third generation of leadership. That history gives us deep roots in Connecticut. At Norwich, you’ll help introduce that legacy to new customers while showing them the people and personality behind this dealership. What You’ll Own Video and Creative Content Video will be a major part of your work. You’ll plan, shoot, edit, and publish content such as:

• Chevrolet and pre-owned vehicle features and walkarounds
• Short-form videos, Reels, and YouTube Shorts
• Customer delivery moments and ownership stories
• Salesperson and employee spotlights
• Behind-the-scenes dealership content
• Promotions, events, and community involvement
• Service and vehicle ownership tips
• New concepts you identify and develop

You should be comfortable using editing, pacing, captions, graphics, sound effects, and music to turn raw footage into content that holds attention and fits the platform. Stories That Lead to Action You’ll write scripts, opening hooks, captions, and calls to action that give customers a reason to keep watching and take the next step. You’ll work closely with the Norwich sales and leadership teams to find stories worth telling and help employees feel confident on camera. Social Media and Audience Growth You’ll plan and manage content across relevant channels, including Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, and other platforms that reach our customers. You’ll build a content calendar, adapt creative work for each platform, follow emerging trends, and test new ideas. Your goal is to reach people who are likely to shop with or service their vehicle at Scranton Chevrolet of Norwich—whether they’re looking for a Chevrolet truck or SUV, considering a pre-owned vehicle, or getting to know our dealership for the first time. Results You Can Learn From You’ll track video performance, engagement, website traffic, inquiries, leads, and other available measures of customer interest. You’ll use those results to improve the next campaign and help the team understand which ideas are creating real opportunities. What We’re Looking For Required:

• Experience in marketing, social media, digital content, video production, advertising, or a related field
• Strong video editing skills and examples of content you’ve created
• Ability to develop video concepts, scripts, hooks, captions, and calls to action
• Experience creating and publishing content for major social platforms
• Comfort shooting content on-site and collaborating with employees and leadership
• Strong organization, communication, and follow-through
• A portfolio or links to videos, social content, or campaigns you’ve produced

Huge plus:

• Fluency in Spanish and/or Chinese, including Mandarin or Cantonese
• Experience creating or adapting marketing content for multilingual audiences
• Automotive or dealership marketing experience
• Familiarity with Chevrolet or other General Motors brands
• Photography, videography, or on-camera experience
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, Canva, or similar tools
• Experience with paid social advertising, analytics, and lead generation
