Data Scientist, Product Analytics

Collaborating with cross-functional teams, the full-time salaried Data Scientist, Product Analytics will leverage large data sets to influence product strategy, identify opportunities, and solve complex business challenges in a remote environment. Key responsibilities Work with large and complex data sets to solve a wide array of challenging problems using various analytical and statistical approaches Apply technical expertise in quantitative analysis, experimentation, and data mining to develop strategies for products serving billions of users Partner with Product and Engineering teams to inform and execute product strategy through data-driven insights and recommendations Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience 2+ years of experience in analytics and proficiency in data querying languages (e.g., SQL) and scripting languages (e.g., Python) Experience in solving analytical problems using quantitative approaches and leading data-driven projects from definition to execution Demonstrated ability to define metrics, design experiments, and communicate actionable insights
