Field Services Engineer

Requirements Experience with FANUC robot troubleshooting as a technician or in school. Ability to interpret electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic prints and related technical documentation. Ability to work safely and effectively within OSHA Laws. Able to work at customer sites with little direct supervision. Comfortable with heavy travel, overtime work, and 2nd and 3rd shift when needed on assignments. Plusses Ability to read and interpret PLC ladder logic a plus. Associate’s Degree in an Applied Science or equivalent technical education preferred. Responsibilities A leading supplier of automation for manufacturing is looking for an eager Associate Service Engineer to do preventative maintenance on robots at customer sites. Troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of robots and controllers, electrical control devices, and peripheral equipment. Provide telephone‑based troubleshooting through the Hotline to support customers in resolving related peripheral equipment operational problems. Documenting products and related peripheral equipment performance and failure modes. Daily reporting to Service Management to update status & availability. Completion of a Service Report for each customer call. Maintenance of a service toolkit to facilitate rapid customer response. Return of parts shipped for the service call but not purchased by the customer or defective parts replaced under warranty. #J-18808-Ljbffr
