Lead Teacher

Description: SLAM Palm Beach is seeking a dynamic and student-centered instructional leader with prior experience in a school-based leadership role, preferably at the middle or high school level. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of grades 6–12, adolescent development, and secondary school culture, and brings a collaborative spirit with a passion for mentorship and student advocacy Requirements: Prior successful experience as a school-based instructional leader (Assistant Principal, Principal, or comparable role), preferably in a middle or high school setting Experience working with grades 6–12, with a clear understanding of adolescent development and secondary school culture A collaborative spirit with a passion for mentorship and student advocacy Bachelor’s degree in education or a closely related field Master’s degree in Educational Leadership (or currently enrolled in a qualifying Educational Leadership program) Florida Educational Leadership certification (or actively working toward obtaining it) Participation in a recognized leadership development program for aspiring administrators (e.g., Doral Leadership Program or similar) Strong knowledge of Florida academic standards, state assessment requirements, and secondary curriculum Minimum of three (3) years of successful classroom teaching experience and evaluations Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and families Strong communication and organizational skills Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively as part of a school leadership team #J-18808-Ljbffr Doral Leadership
