a { text-decoration: none; } tr th, tr td { } tr th { } a { text-decoration: none; } tr th, tr td { } tr th { } About the RoleThe Superintendent will lead day-to-day field operations for industrial construction projects-both ground-up builds and maintenance scopes-ensuring safe execution, quality workmanship, and on-schedule delivery. Projects commonly include civil/site work, concrete foundations/pads/walls, utilities (power/water/storm/sewer), deep excavations with shoring/dewatering, and marine-adjacent infrastructure maintenance.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn field planning and production for assigned projects; develop and maintain short-interval schedules; coordinate labor, equipment, and subcontractorsEnforce a safety-first culture consistent with OSHA standards and company programs (daily huddles, inspections, stop-work authority)Direct self-perform activities (concrete, demolition/disposal, cutting and core drilling) and heavy civil site work (grading, excavation, material hauling, erosion/sediment control)Oversee utility and infrastructure maintenance tasks, including duct bank/power, water, storm, and sewer work; manage pump-around operations when requiredVerify QA/QC: layout, tolerances, formwork, rebar placement, pour sequencing, and finishing; address field issues promptly to protect schedule and budgetCoordinate inspections, permits, and logistics; ensure equipment readiness and proper documentationMaintain daily reports, timekeeping, delivery tickets, and as-built records; support cost control and change management with project management staffBuild strong relationships with owners, engineers, and trade partners; represent the project professionally on siteQualifications5+ years as Superintendent, General Foreman, or Field Supervisor on industrial/civil projects (ground-up and maintenance)Proven experience with concrete foundations/walls/pads, heavy civil/site work, and industrial utilities; marine or waterfront exposure a plusDemonstrated leadership of self-perform crews and subcontractors on multi-discipline jobsStrong working knowledge of OSHA construction safety practices; ability to lead job-site safety meetings and auditsCompetency in field documentation, short-interval scheduling, and basic plan/spec interpretation; familiarity with construction management systems preferredValid driver's license; willingness to travel within the region and work in outdoor/industrial environmentsBenefitsMedical, Dental, Vision401K with MatchGenerous PTO Policy
