Evans General Contractors, LLC (Evans) Internship Program offers talented college students the opportunity to gain meaningful hands‑on experience working together with Evans’ team of industry experts. Evans’ goal is to support student’s growth and development by providing interns with a diversity of project‑based tasks to apply and develop their skills. Additionally, throughout the internship program interns will have networking opportunities, access to Senior Management, and will participate of team‑building activities. Responsibilities Interns will either rotate throughout the Preconstruction, Operations and Field Divisions or, depending on the student’s career goal, pick an area they want to focus on and will: Assist with material take-offs. Assist with scheduling. Assist the Preconstruction Division in preparing estimates. Prepare purchase orders for review by Project Team. Assist with compiling punch‑list. Review and assist with processing submittals. Monitor field work alongside the Project Team. Input data for labor cost reports and field quantity surveys. Assist with processing RFI's. Prepare document distributions to subcontractors for review by Project Team. Complete other responsibilities as assigned.
