Commercial Account Manager Lead-Agriculture Cincinnati, OH, USA Overview Alliant Insurance Services is a leading insurance brokerage and consulting firm. This role focuses on managing large market agriculture accounts, driving renewals, and building new business opportunities. Responsibilities Foster and manage overall relationships with clients to retain a large market book of business and ensure high satisfaction. Support producers in developing new business opportunities for existing clients and prospects. Initiate the renewal process for existing clients and develop renewal strategies with producers. Analyze current exposures and develop renewal or new business specifications for marketing. Conduct marketing, negotiate rates, review quotes and coverages for competitiveness and accuracy. Independently review policies, determine appropriate coverage, and identify potential deficiencies. Summarize marketing results, prepare proposals, and finalize presentations with producer support. Bind insurance coverage and prepare binders and/or delegate certificates for issuance. Review policies for accuracy and review contracts. Prepare summaries or schedules of coverage for clients. Review client accounting history, respond to accounting inquiries, correct discrepancies, and contact clients on receivable collections. Provide technical guidance to staff on client needs or procedural issues. Participate in the claims process as directed by management, including claim submission and follow‑up. Notify producers of pertinent information related to client retention. Meet with clients as needed or directed by producers. Collect fees, reconcile balances, and resolve outstanding balances within 90 days of invoicing. Comply with agency management system data standards and ensure data integrity. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Eight (8) or more years of related work experience. Valid insurance license; must meet continuing education requirements for license renewal. Encouraged to complete Career Path requirements as communicated by supervisor. Skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Advanced planning, organizational, and prioritization skills. Team‑oriented with strong teamwork abilities. Excellent customer service skills, including telephone and listening skills. Strong leadership, problem‑solving, and time‑management skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
