Senior Accountant - Manufacturing

Senior Accountant We are looking for a detail-driven Senior Accountant to join our finance team and support full-cycle accounting with a strong emphasis on cost accounting. Key Responsibilities Lead month-end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and variance analysis. Manage all aspects of cost accounting , including standard cost updates, cost rollups, material/labor/overhead analysis, and annual cost reviews. Analyze manufacturing and inventory variances, explaining drivers and preparing recommendations for operational improvement. Maintain and reconcile inventory accounts, including WIP, raw materials, and finished goods. Support the development and maintenance of product cost models to improve pricing and margin insights. Perform financial analysis for production performance, absorption, scrap, and yield. Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities related to COGS, inventory, and production metrics. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA preferred. 3–5+ years of accounting experience, with strong cost accounting exposure (manufacturing environment preferred). Solid understanding of GAAP and full-cycle accounting. Experience with ERP systems such as Job scope; advanced Excel skills required. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
