Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30)

Job Description: This position offers an elevated seasonal winter rate. If your traveler starts on 9/21 or 9/28, they will receive the standard rate until 10/4, at which point the posted seasonal rate will take effect. On 2/27, rates will return to standard amounts. This role does not require on-call duty, but candidates may be required to float to postpartum if needed. The Registered Nurse will be expected to monitor fetal heart rates, assist in high-risk pregnancy management, and support C-sections and vaginal deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage high-risk pregnancies.
• Assist with vaginal deliveries and circulate for C-sections.
• Perform fetal heart monitoring and other assessments.
• Provide couplet care for newborns and mothers after delivery.
• Participate in triage and care for antepartum patients.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery.
• Current RN license (Compact license preferred).
• Certifications: AWHONN Advanced or NCC EFM, ACLS, BLS, NRP, FHM.
• No first-timers accepted. Weekend shifts required every other weekend.
